Never forget

Today I want to re-post this poem it's about one of my best friends who passed away February, 14 2009.

My first poem being posted:

"Never forget.

I will never forget
The day you died
The way I cried.
I will never forget
They way they told me
The way I kept the pain inside.
I will never forget
They way I felt
As if I would shrivel and melt.
I will never forget
Our long talks
All your plans and thoughts.
I will never forget
They way we laughed
I thought it would never end.
I will never forget
The first day I saw you
The last day I saw you.
I will never forget."

There is a girl
Who is crying out loud
She sits alone
But without warning
She moves from her spot
Of sorrow and hurt
She smile a little
She looks at her old spot
Tears well in her eyes
Thinking back on the bad times
But she turns away
Walks on with pride
To find a spot were
The sun always shines
Where love is like air
And sorrow is nowhere
A spot called "happy"

There is a girl
Who tries to be happy
all the time
She sits alone
In a spot in the sun
With out a tear
Upon her cheek
She smiles

One day I'll be yours

One day I'll be yours,
Together we can do anything,
One day you'll be mine,
I can hold your hand with mine.

One day you will see
Just how great I can be
One day I'll see
Why you and I can't be.

One day we will talk for hours
About everything and nothing
One day we will share the silence
Only holding each other tight.

Shake

Your hand in mine, they shake as they intertwine,
We walk together into our short so called 'forever'
We walk through the land of uncertainty
Around the corners of surprise,
You and I our hands intertwined shaking with hurt and love
Our words make no sense but our love solves the mess
I love us together forever 😊

They are

You are a light in the dark
Smiles all day
The way you say "always"

They are distractions
Smirks and jokes
They say "no way"

I think it could work
You and I
The way we say "we"

Night of noise

In the night I hear no noise
Though I hear the heartbeats,
I hear the in out of breath
The rise and fall of bodies,
And the faint sound of tears on the pillow.

In the night I see no sights
Though I see the colors flood my eyes
But they are not really there,
And Tears flooding blurring the blackness,
I see the swarming black
Consuming us all.

In the night I feel no feelings
Though I feel the aching hurt of our hearts,
The pit of sadness without an end,
I feel the tears stream and hit the pillow,
sending shock waves across the room.
